On April 9, 1952, in the circuit court of Lake County, John R. Schlenger entered a plea of guilty to an indictment containing two counts, the first charging armed robbery, the second grand larceny. He was sentenced to the Illinois Penitentiary for a term of 5 to 15 years on the armed robbery count, and was given a sentence of 5 to 10...
