The Hope Natural Gas Company, a corporation, plaintiff, brought this action of trespass on the case, against the defendant, West Virginia Turnpike Commission, a commission created by and under the laws of the State of West Virginia, in the Circuit Court of Kanawha County, alleging damages in the sum of $35,000 resulting from the defendant's negligence in so constructing its turnpike at the point of a pipe line relocation easement as to cause slips and...
