Bruce R. Jennings, the plaintiff-appellee, recovered a judgment in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County in the amount of $12,442.28 against the defendant-appellant, Surrey Inn, Inc., and the latter appeals. The suit was brought on two of the common counts — money lent and accounts stated — and was particularized as being based upon amounts loaned or advanced as follows: $3,500 on March 5, 1951; $6,000...
