Donald Thomas Dickerson, the husband of the appellee, was driving his automobile through Grady County, Georgia, over U. S. Highway No. 84, also known as State Route 38, on the afternoon of August 6, 1955. There had been an unusually heavy rain. The rain slacked off from heavy to moderate.
