The Industrial Accident Commission awarded the claimant below, five-year old Bennie Thomas Brannan of Southern Pines, North Carolina, compensation as a partial dependent of his father, who died as a result of an accident in Maryland. On appeal by the employer and the insurer, Judge Carter, sitting in the Baltimore City Court without a jury, found on the evidence before the Commission that the child was totally dependent...
