Appellants, John G. Duarte and T.S. Shinn, were endorsers of a promissory note in the principal sum of $25,000, made by Y.H. Char and Wm. H. Crozier, Jr., and payable to Bank of Hawaii. The note was dated December 6, 1946, and was due three months after date, with interest at the rate of six per cent per year.
