On April 11, 1956, the plaintiff instituted this proceeding to appropriate real estate of Mary C. Hughes Bates, and others, under its power of eminent domain. A trial was had in February 1957, to assess the value of the property to be taken, and the jury fixed $10,500 as the fair market value of the real estate of Mary C. Hughes Bates.
