On the morning of November 15, 1956, around 8:30 a. m., George stopped the bus on Highway 10 to pick up school passengers, including appellee, Susie George. Ross Weatherford was driving his Ford pick-up truck east on Highway 10 toward Little Rock, by his statement, "* * * not over 50 miles an hour." It had been raining, and the highway was slick.
