Appellees raised and sold cotton in 1956 to the Manila Gin Company, but were unable to cash the gin's checks given them for the purchase price. They instituted this action against the Gin Company (i. e. the two partners owning and operating the Gin), the Corning Bank at which the Gin Company did business, and L. G. Black who was connected with the Bank and also was a creditor of the Gin Company. There were other defendants originally but they are not...
