This is a suit for damages against Mayo Harson, Sheriff of Lafayette Parish, and H. Gordon Hamner, Jr., arising out of an illegal and wrongful seizure of an automobile owned by plaintiff. Both defendants filed an exception of no right or cause of action which was sustained as to the defendant Sheriff but overruled as to his codefendant.
