This is an action by insurance companies to recover as damages, by virtue of the Dramshop Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1955, chap. 43), the amount of monies paid by them for "injury" to the property of their assureds. It is alleged that the damage was caused by the negligence and wilful and wanton conduct of the driver of an automobile who was intoxicated and to whose intoxication...
