Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty and sentenced for violation of 18 U.S.C. § 6591 upon an indictment which charged him with possession of stolen goods, moving in interstate commerce, knowing them to have been stolen. He prosecutes this appeal from the District Court's judgment of conviction, entered following its denial of his motion for judgment of acquittal or for a new trial,
