Mrs. Nina Jones, a widow, instituted this action ex delicto in her own behalf to recover medical expenses, and in behalf of her minor daughter, Sheila Jo Mitchum, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in a fall from a pick-up truck on September 14, 1955.
