Mrs. Loretta D. Klumpp, widow of Captain John C. Klumpp of the New Orleans Fire Department, instituted this suit against the Board of Trustees of Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund for the City of New Orleans seeking a judgment awarding her a pension of $162.50 per month from November 5, 1953, the date of her husband's death, until her death or remarriage.
