Plaintiff brings this action to recover damages alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendant in the operation of his automobile.

This is the second appearance of the case in this court. In the first trial the jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff. The defendant appealed from the judgment and the denial of his motion for a new trial. We reversed the judgment. See Dwyer v...
