Ralph Edward Fleenor was convicted by a jury of seduction under promise of marriage of Nancy Ellis, an unmarried female of previous chaste character, in violation of Code, § 18-48,1 and his punishment fixed at confinement in the penitentiary for two years. We granted a writ of error to the judgment entered on the verdict.
