The information, in four counts, charged that the defendant had violated § 8567 of the General Statutes1 in that on four different days he "did have in his possession with intent to sell, offer and show certain booklets containing obscene and indecent language and also obscene and indecent pictures, against the peace and contrary to the form of the statute."
