Kathleen F. Johnson commenced this action for divorce in the superior court of Kitsap county on September 26, 1955. Her husband, Warren P. Johnson, filed a cross-complaint in which he also prayed for a divorce. At the time of the first trial, May 28, 1956, the parties' only child, Michael, was about seven years of age. At the conclusion of the trial, the court granted the husband a divorce, and awarded him all of the community property, but gave the wife...
