This suit stems from an intersectional collision on the morning of August 27, 1955 between a truck owned by defendant Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company ("Southern Bell") and a Plymouth car driven by codefendant Kinchen, as a result of which collision the Southern Bell truck struck plaintiff Johnson's parked car. The District Court absolved codefendant Kinchen of any blame for the accident and held that the sole proximate cause of the accident...
