Naoma Fleming Hitchcock and others sued Ashby Minor James and others in trespass to try title for the recovery of 32 acres of land, known as Outlots 156, 157, 158 and 159, of the Lamar Townsite in Aransas County, Texas. Those lots are located on the east side of the Lamar Peninsula, on or near the shore of St. Charles Bay. The disputed boundary between those lots and lands owned by defendants resulted in this suit.
