The plaintiff in error, Robert M. Shewmaker, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged in the court of common pleas of Tulsa county with the crime of practicing dentistry without a license. A jury was waived and defendant was tried before the court, found guilty and his punishment fixed by the court at a fine of $500 and costs, and imprisonment in the county jail for a period of six months, with jail...
