McCALEB, Justice.

We granted an alternative writ of mandamus in this case for the judge to show cause why he should not sign certain bills of exceptions perfected by the defendant herein. However, in view of our decision on defendant's appeal, in which we have reversed his conviction and ordered him discharged (see 234 La. 28, 99 So.2d 11), this matter has become moot.
