Defendant was charged with a violation of the Universal Military Training and Service Act (Title 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix, § 451 et seq.) by an indictment which so far as is material here reads as follows:

"Richard Harold Hansen, a male person subject to the Universal Military Training and Service Act * * was classified 1-AO, and was notified of said classification; and a notice and order * * * was duly given him to report for induction...
