Ward W. and Mae F. Currie, each, at the time of the trial of this action in the early months of 1957, was about fifty-five years of age. They were married February 18, 1922. Ward started farming for himself in 1919 when he was 19 years old. Mae had graduated from the high school in Missouri Valley.
