Appellant Wilson brought this suit under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C.A. § 688 for personal injury and property damage allegedly sustained when the tug Suwannee, on which he was employed by the appellee as a cook, sank in the Intracoastal Waterway near Mile 244, West of Harvey, Louisiana, at approximately 3:00 a. m. the night of February 4, 1950.
