Appellant, hereinafter referred to as "defendant", was tried and convicted upon an indictment charging that "on or about March 15, 1955, Gomer A. Evans transported in interstate commerce from Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the Northern Judicial District of Oklahoma, to Fort Worth, Texas, a stolen 1954 Oldsmobile `98' Holiday Automobile, Motor Number V 324964, he then knowing said automobile to have been stolen...
