This is an original proceeding in certiorari to Cerro Gordo District Court, C. H. Wild, Judge, 12th Judicial District. It stems from proceedings to extradite Bernard H. Mack for prosecution in Illinois for the crime of confidence game. Complaint had been filed and a warrant issued for the arrest of Mack as provided by section 759.7, Code of Iowa, 1954, I.C.A. and Mack had given bail to appear before the magistrate in accordance with section 759.8...
