Brisboise sued the Kansas City Public Service Company, a corporation, and seeks $100,000 actual and $100,000 punitive damages for the consequential loss of his wife's, Pearl Brisboise's consortium under circumstances hereinafter detailed. A second amended petition was filed. Defendant filed a "motion to dismiss" on the ground said petition failed to state a claim; and a "motion, in the alternative, to strike" portions of said petition...
