The plaintiff, May Danhof, filed suit in the circuit court of Marshall County under the Liquor Control Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1953, chap. 43, par. 135,) claiming loss of means of support "in consequence of the intoxication" of her husband, Cornelius P. Danhof (also known as "Pelie" Danhof,) who was beaten by one Harold Morris. The defendants
