The record comes to us on the clerk's transcript and judgment roll. As found by the trial court, sitting without a jury, plaintiff George F. Edwards was a roofing subcontractor on a school job for defendant I.C. Curry, the general contractor. Cross-defendant J.S. Schirm Company was the materialman supplying Edwards. The school was being built pursuant to a contract between Curry and the San Diego Unified School District, which is not a party to this action...
