In this action of contract the single question of law presented by the record is whether the liability of the defendant for hospital care furnished to a minor having a settlement in the defendant town was limited to the rate established by G.L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 7, § 30K, inserted by St. 1953, c. 636, § 2.
