Plaintiff commenced an action against defendant for damages sustained as a result of the flooding of plaintiff's rice crop. The case was tried by the court sitting without a jury and judgment was entered in favor of plaintiff for the sum of $14,275, together with interest from December 31, 1953. Defendant's motion for a new trial was denied and he has appealed from the judgment, his principal contentions being that the evidence is insufficient to support...
