In this case the plaintiff, the United States, asks for judgment under a defaulted bond and seeks foreclosure of the real estate covered by the mortgage given as collateral for the bond. The matter is presently before the Court on motion of the plaintiff for judgment on the pleadings in favor of the plaintiff for the reason that the defendants' answer fails to state a valid defense.
