Lawrence Clyde Cook was tried on an information charging him with selling intoxicating liquor contrary to G.S. 1955 Supp., 41-901. The jury returned a verdict of guilty, the defendant's motion for a new trial was denied and sentence was imposed, following which he perfected an appeal to this court.
