TOMLINSON, Justice.

During the course of his employment, and arising out of it, Edwards received a ruptured intervertebral disc. Despite several months of conservative treatment by three specialists in the treatment and cure of such an injury, his disability has continued to be total, and, in the absence of surgery, will, in the opinion of these doctors, so remain. They are unanimous in recommending that he undergo surgery called by them a "laminectomy". The testimony...
