The claim grew out of the disallowance of an attorney's fee by the Internal Revenue Service and paid by plaintiff Gordon Bonnyman in 1954. The amount of the attorney's fee was $3,487.61 for services rendered by S. Frank Fowler, Esq., in connection with contesting and settling a claim for deficiency in a gift tax return filed by Frances Bonnyman, donor...
