Petitioner is confined in the Ohio State Penitentiary under a sentence of life imprisonment. He filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in the district court, alleging, among other things, that he had been denied the aid of counsel by the Ohio Court of Common Pleas, and had been coerced into signing a confession, and pleading guilty to first degree murder.
