BUCHANAN, Justice.

Alice Kegley brought this action to recover on a life insurance policy, in which she was the beneficiary, issued to her husband, Claude Kegley, by the defendant, Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company. The company denied liability beyond the total of the premiums paid for the policy on the ground that the insured had committed suicide and a clause in the policy limited its liability in that event to the amount of the premiums.
