This is an appeal from an order granting a new trial, limited to the issue of damages in an action for personal injuries.

Ruth Greenwood was injured in a fall while walking down a stairway in the Olympic Hotel, operated by defendant, The Olympic, Incorporated. She and her husband sued for $25,702, and the jury returned a verdict in their favor for $2,702. Plaintiffs had submitted proof of special damages...
