Charles B. Guyger was killed by a truck driven by Henry Pettijohn, an employee of Hamilton Trailer Company, and Guyger's surviving wife and child sued said company for damages. They alleged that Mr. Guyger was 77 years of age; that said truck driver saw Guyger start across a public road, knew he was in a position of peril and negligently failed to stop or slow his truck; that on the contrary, he increased his speed and turned his truck "sharply...
