On July 22, 1948, one Pacewicz, doing business with another as Bill & Ed's Garage (hereinafter called Garage), sold an automobile to one Hayes in Suffield, Connecticut, under a conditional sale agreement. This was assigned by Garage to National Finance Company (hereinafter called National). On July 27 the contract was recorded in the office of the town clerk of Suffield where Hayes resided.
