It appears without dispute that at the time of the collision the defendant Beverly Ann Wadoz was twenty years and six months of age. Before she became eighteen years of age, she had requested permission from her father to enter a convent, which request he declined. The daughter told the father that while he still had jurisdiction over her at the time, nevertheless, when she became eighteen years of age she would be "on her own" and could do as she pleased...
