The plaintiffs and the defendant entered into a written contract for the installation of a heating system on the second floor of the defendant's building in East Haven. The contract, dated September 23, 1953, took the form of a conditional sale agreement and incorporated by reference a letter written on the preceding day by the plaintiffs to the defendant.
