This action was instituted by the appellant, John Henry Cooper, a minor of the age of fourteen years, through his Guardian ad Litem, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him on February 22, 1955, by reason of an explosion which took place at a filling station owned by Beard Oil Company and operated by Lynwood M.
