QUINN, Associate Judge.

Ida Mae Mitchell sued Allied Cab Company for personal injuries sustained in an automobile collision at an intersection. Her husband filed a separate suit for property damage and personal injuries, in which his insurance carrier joined as subrogee under a deductible policy. These cases were consolidated for jury trial. At the conclusion of all the evidence Allied moved for a directed verdict,
