This is an appeal from a judgment for defendants in a main line railroad crossing accident case, after verdict by the jury in favor of respondents, and following the denial of plaintiffs' motion for a new trial.

The appellants are Harvey R. Montieth, the bus driver involved in the collision who sued for alleged personal injuries, and Artia Markham, his mother, who sued to recover medical expenses. For convenience, they will hereafter collectively...
