The defendant and the plaintiff, at the time of the transactions forming the subject matter of this action, were husband and wife, although they have since been divorced. The complaint was in three counts. The defendant filed a counterclaim. The plaintiff recovered on each count of the complaint and the defendant on the counterclaim.
