This case has resulted from an unfortunate accident occurring June 22, 1952. At the time the defendant Beauchamp was the owner of a motorboat which he operated on Lake Orion in Oakland county. In the afternoon of the date mentioned he took a number of friends and acquaintances, including Stanley White, for a motorboat ride.
