For many years Harriet Kimball Fee and her husband Harry A. Fee were among the leading citizens of Adrian. They were public-spirited people of considerable means and their public and private charities and philanthropies were many and varied and of long standing. One of their favorite projects was the development and maintenance of a property owned by Mr. Fee and located in Franklin township in their home county known as "Hidden Lake Gardens."
