Defendant was charged in one count of an information with obtaining money ($800), property of the complaining witness, Alice (Skeetz) Herrell, on September 20, 1956, by false and fraudulent representations and pretenses, in violation of section 532 of the Penal Code. In a second count it was charged that on October 9th, 1956, he took her personal property valued at about $580, in violation of section 484...
